1.Introduction
Welcome to Travel Buddy (“the App”), owned and operated by Kawaii, Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern your use of Travel Buddy and all related services.
2.Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Travel Buddy, you agree to be bound by these T&C. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use Travel Buddy.
3.Description of Service
Travel Buddy uses artificial intelligence to provide context, identification, and information about landmarks, objects, food, and other items you encounter while traveling. Information generated by the App is for general informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be relied upon as authoritative travel, safety, medical, dietary, or legal guidance.
4.User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate inputs (photos, queries) when using the App
- Using Travel Buddy in compliance with all applicable laws and local regulations, including photography and privacy rules at your location
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Verifying any safety-, dietary-, or transit-critical information against authoritative sources before acting on it
- Any decisions made based on Travel Buddy’s output
5.Intellectual Property
Travel Buddy, including its software, design, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Kawaii, Inc.’s trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
6.Limitation of Liability
We provide Travel Buddy on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information generated. Kawaii, Inc. will not be liable for any losses or damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, Travel Buddy — including missed transit, dietary issues, misidentified items, or safety incidents.
7.Disclaimer of Warranties
Kawaii, Inc. disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8.User Content
You retain ownership of photos and other content you submit to Travel Buddy. By submitting content, you grant Kawaii, Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and analyze that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. Photos you upload are stored privately in your account and are not made public by default. Do not submit photos containing other people’s personally identifying information without their consent.
9.Termination
Kawaii, Inc. reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to Travel Buddy immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the T&C.
10.Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these T&C at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. Your continued use of Travel Buddy after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new T&C.
11.Governing Law
These T&C shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Kawaii, Inc. is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
